PM Shahbaz persuades MQM-P to join the federal cabinet

MQM Pakistan has decided to join the federal cabinet of Shahbaz Sharif
Reliable sources said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has contacted the MQM-P leadership and persuaded them to join the cabinet.
According to sources, some PML-N leaders also telephoned the MQM-P and invited them to be part of the cabinet in the current situation and play their positive role in bringing the country out of the crisis.
Sources said that the PML-N also assured the MQM-P leadership that all the points under the agreement would be implemented.
According to sources, the MQM-P will have two advisors from his party in addition to two ministries in the federation, while the governorship in Sindh will be given to PML-N. Besides, it has been agreed to give at least 5 ministries to MQM-P in Sindh.
In this regard, a meeting between the top leadership of PPP and MQM-P will be held soon in which matters pertaining to the provincial cabinet will be finalized.
Sources further added that, it is likely that on Monday, former federal minister Syed Aminul Haq will be sworn in as a minister by the MQM-P in the first phase while Senator Syed Faisal Sabzwari will be part of the federal cabinet in the second phase.
