PM Shahbaz inaugurates Blue Line, Green Line Bus service in Islamabad
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has inaugurated the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Green Line and Blue Line metro bus services.
Addressing the inaugural function of the Green and Blue Line bus service project in Islamabad, the Prime Minister said that he was happy that the people of Islamabad and Rawalpindi would be provided with transport facilities.
The Prime Minister said that people from all walks of life would benefit from this project, all should work together to overcome the delays of the past, all institutions should work hard to serve the suffering humanity.
The Prime Minister further said that inflation has been going on in the country for the last 4 years, the common man is working day and night for his living and raising his children with great difficulty.
“We should pray for further reduction in global oil and gas prices so that the people get some relief from inflation, hopefully the reduction in petrol prices will bring some relief to the people,” he added.
Premier stated that today I have a very important meeting in which important decisions and measures related to the supply of cheap electricity including solar energy will be considered. Solar energy projects will save the lives of the people from expensive electricity.
We want to take similar steps for the entire of Pakistan at the federal level as the Punjab Chief Minister has taken for free electricity supply.
