KARACHI: Firdous Ashiq Awan, PM’s Special Assistant for Information and Broadcasting, said Premier Imran Khan will be visiting Karachi tomorrow (March 7) to launch public-oriented projects.

She said in a series of tweets on Friday that the Prime Minister will also review the priorities for addressing the problems facing the Karachi people.

The special assistant said the people are fed up with two family politics and their political model.

She added, “The people do not want these families to be imposed on them again.”

By a constitutional amendment, Awan listed those who talk about democracy today tried to become a dictator in their era.

Regarding the remark by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, she said the claim by Abbassi that old models can not address the country’s problems is an admission of their shortcomings.

He said those who for three decades have remained forced on the nation today are recognizing their failures.

She said the people of Pakistan chose Imran Khan as the prime minister because he’s a leader who has truly defined public rule.
