In a meeting of the Federal Cabinet on Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan gave a green light to resume international flight operations to and from Pakistan while discussing the matter with his Ministers.
“Overseas Pakistanis are close to us and we won’t abandon them in difficult times,” the PM was quoted as saying. He has not, however, announced a clear date on which the operations will resume.
The prime minister allegedly okayed it on his special assistant ‘s recommendation on Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfikar Bukhari.
After agreeing on SOPs with the Pakistan Government, flights will resume work to ensure that the coronavirus does not spread among passengers.
