PM Imran to virtually address Pakistani envoys worldwide
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will address via video link on Wednesday afternoon the Pakistanis envoys deployed worldwide.
In a tweet, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain said the embassies were identity of Pakistan and the Pakistani people.
The minister said the envoys had a very important role to address the problems of overseas Pakistanis especially the labourers.
On May 4, while talking to the Islamabad-based Ambassadors of the countries belonging to the OIC in Islamabad, Prime Minister Imran Khan had urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to work together to make the international community understand the deep-rooted love and reverence of all Muslims for the Holy Prophet Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Sallam Khatamu-un-Nabiyeen and the Holy Quran.
The prime minister had underlined the need for instituting legal safeguards to protect the sensitivities of all religious groups and OIC’s collective efforts to project the true image of Islam, and its message of peace and tolerance.
