LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday said that the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project worth five trillion rupees will create millions of jobs as 40 industries were connected to housing and construction.
Speaking to the civil and police bureaucracy at the CM secretariat through video link, PM Imran Khan has termed the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project as one of the mega projects in the country’s history. He said the project will also create wealth, enabling us to start paying off our national debt.
He also expressed great excitement in doing stone-laying of new Ravi Riverfront City, one of the biggest mega projects in the history of country. He said six million trees will be planted as a part of the Ravi city project.

The prime minister also asked civil and police bureaucracy to eliminate money embezzlement as it damaged the economy beyond repair. He said the corruption began from elites of a society.
Directing for working on merit, he assured the civil and police bureaucracy that they would face no political pressure while working honestly and he would stand by them.
Imran Khan once again reiterated that the opposition leaders seeking the NRO will never get it. He said those who looted the country would be held accountable for their actions. He said he would not spare corrupt elements and make an example out of them.
