PM Imran lands in Quetta to meet heirs of Hazara community victims

QUETTA: Prime Minister Imran Khan’s chartered plane has landed in Quetta. Accompanied by Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, he will meet heirs of the Hazara community victims.

The funeral prayers of the 10 coalminers, the victims of the Macch massacre, was held on Saturday (today) at Hazara Town Imambargah in Quetta.

According to the sources, the funeral prayer at the Hazara Town Graveyard was led by Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas.

Moreover, the funeral prayer was also attended by National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri and Special Assistant to the PM Zulfi Bukhari, Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau, provincial minister Mir Arif Jan Mohammad .

PM Imran Khan had scheduled his visit to Quetta at 10:00 am but was postponed to afternoon.

Last night (Friday), the negotiations were successful between the government and the protesters to call-off the sit-ins in different parts of the country.
