PM Imran Khan to address nation today, calls Cabinet meeting
The Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the Federal Cabinet and will also address the nation today night after government suffered setback.
Federal Law Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said in a tweet that Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a cabinet meeting today.
Fawad Chaudhry further said that the meeting of PTI parliamentary committee will also be held today, Prime Minister Imran Khan will also address the nation tonight.
Earlier, Supreme Court of Pakistan has ruled in the case of Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri’s April 3 ruling and dissolution of the National Assembly by the President.
A five-member bench of the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the April 3 ruling of the Deputy Speaker and dissolution of the National Assembly was unconstitutional, after which the Supreme Court restored the National Assembly.
The Supreme Court in its judgment directed the Speaker NA to convene a meeting of the National Assembly on April 9 at 10:30 am.
