Prime Minister Imran Khan has reiterated Pakistan’s continued support of a peace process that is controlled by Afghanistan and led by Afghanistan.

Talking to Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Prime Minister appreciated the crucial role of Qatar in the US-Taliban peace agreement to be signed on Saturday (29 February 2020) during his day-long visit to Doha.

The two leaders shared the hope that all stakeholders in Afghanistan will utilize this historic opportunity to reach an inclusive political settlement to create permanent peace and stability.

The Prime Minister also briefed the Emir of Qatar on the ongoing grave human rights violations under the RSS-inspired BJP government in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
