RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb addressed the media on Monday saying that Prime Minister Imran Khan is plotting to sabotage the nation.

She said that the biggest traitor is the Prime Minister himself and that he is using foreign funds to ruin the nation. The children of the country are falling short of a good standard of living, the PML-N member also remarked.

CPEC has closed, development has ceased, the rupee has fallen and prices have risen, she said. The country is experiencing a downfall.

The country that was progressing under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership is deteriorating now, she added.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government will be soon sent packing,” she said and added the government has sold the country to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In light of party leader and former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal’s arrest today, she said that it will not do much harm to the party. “We know how to fight political battles. We don’t lie and we can recognize traitors as they are.”

Talking to media in Islamabad on Monday, she said that the sports city project was approved by the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) government and billions of rupees were being wasted, adding that Ahsan Iqbal has served the country in several ways.
