 PM Imran Khan briefs Canadian counterpart on HR violations in IOJ&K

Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau on his party’s victory in the recent general elections and forming the government for the next term.

The Prime Minister Office says that Prime Minister Imran Khan spoke to his Canadian counterpart on Friday and said that, under the leadership of PM Trudeau, Pakistan and Canada’s relationship between each other would be further strengthened.

Prime Minister Imran Khan apprised Prime Minister Trudeau of the latest developments in Indian Occupied Kashmir and the terrible human rights and humanitarian situation there.

Imran Khan highlighted the need for the lockdown’s immediate removal and other restrictions in place for over four months, defusing tensions in the region, and a smooth resolution of the dispute.
