PM Imran Khan accepts PML-Q’s demand of Punjab Chief Ministership

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has agreed to make Chaudhry Parvaiz Elahi the Chief Minister of Punjab. In this regard, the government delegation informed the PML-Q leadership.
According to details, the government is continuing its mission to persuade the allies. In this regard, the government delegation reached the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain again today.
The government delegation called on the PML-Q leadership. Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar and Pervez Khattak were part of the government delegation while Pervaiz Elahi, Wajahat Hussain, Monis Elahi, Salik Hussain and Tariq Cheema were present on behalf of the PML-Q.
Issues of mutual interest including No-Confidence motion, political situation were discussed during the meeting and important message of the Prime Minister was conveyed to Chaudhry Parvez Elahi.
The government delegation informed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has agreed to make Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Defense Minister Pervez Khattak had a meeting with Chaudhry Pervez Elahi on Saturday. In the meeting, the federal ministers conveyed the message of Prime Minister Imran Khan to the Chaudhry brothers.
Sources said that the PML-Q had once again demanded the Chief Ministership of Punjab before the government.
