ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday performed the ground breaking of Timargarh-Khar-Mamad Gat road in Bajaur and inaugurated Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Road and Nahakki Tunnel in Mohmand district.

Local media later revealed that Nahakki Tunnel was already inaugurated by Chief of the Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa exactly three years ago in Sept 2017.

“The new projects will provide better means of transportation, trade and job opportunities to the people of Mohmand and Bajaur. These will improve the connectivity of tribal districts with rest of the districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Peshawar,” PM Imran was relayed during briefing on the projects.
