ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Imran Khan has emphasized on making life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and ideology of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal part of the uniform syllabus.
Addressing a meeting regarding enforcement of common syllabus in Islamabad, he called for making the syllabus in line with needs of the modern era.
The prime minister directed to ensure complete elimination of mafia’s interference regarding publication of syllabus books while enforcing uniform curriculum in the country.

The meeting was informed that the government has prepared uniform syllabus from class one to five in line with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision to enforce uniform curriculum in the country.
It was also informed that a common syllabus from class sixth to eighth will be prepared by March next year whereas the curriculum for class nine to twelve will be completed by 2022.
The meeting was also briefed about steps taken for the provision of learning opportunities in view of closure of educational institutions due to coronavirus. The prime minister was briefed that ministry of Federal Education has arranged seven hour long educational transmissions through Pakistan Television in this regard.
On Nov 6, 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said topic of environment protection would be incorporated in syllabus of schoolchildren.
“We hope to inspire our young people. We will put it into their syllabus that it is important to protect environment for their future,” Imran Khan had said while addressing the inaugural ceremony of three-day 7th Asia Regional Conference on Climate Change in Islamabad.
PM Khan had expressed hope to create enough awareness among young people of the country regarding environment protection.
