PM Imran announces health cards, houses for Islamabad police
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced health insurance cards and house facilitation for the Islamabad police officials on Wednesday.
Addressing the passing out parade event of Islamabad police at Police Lines Headquarters, Imran Khan said that every official would be given the facility of health card through which medical treatment can be acquired at any public or private hospital.
Moreover, police and government employees will be given houses in Naya Pakistan Housing Schemes and the rent payable for the house would be considered as an installment towards having ownership of the house.
“Due to the huge debt on the country, the government is unable to raise the wages of police department,” Khan further stated.
He said the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa changed police, and people there now owned and gave due respect to the police. He said he wanted to see a similar changed police in the entire country. He said police shout treat every common man as a VIP.
On the other hand, Imran Khan recommended the youth of the nation, that they will come across two paths in their lives. “Pray to be on the right track instead of the one which will leave you in destruction,” he said.
