 PM establishes committee to probe wheat, flour related controversy

Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed a three-member committee to investigate the controversy surrounding wheat and flour.

The Director-General of the FIA shall convene the Committee, while its three other members shall be Director-General Anti-Corruption Punjab, Member of the IB not below BS 20/21 and any other member that the Convener may co-opt.

The committee must describe the causes and circumstances which lead to the controversy over the wheat.

It will also provide evaluations and management of federal and provincial wheat stocks.

The committee will also complete its investigation and report to the Prime Minister until sixth of next month.
