The Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting on Monday with Director General Inter-services Intelligence (ISI) Lt General Faiz Hameed and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa to converse about matters pertaining to internal and external national security.
Moreover, Imran Khan didn’t provide details regarding the meeting however, by considering the ongoing matters it is believed that it would have been related to Afghan deal as the Biden administration has announced to review the peace deal with Afghan Taliban.
However, it is the second meeting held between the PM and COAS the following year. Earlier, the meeting held on 11 January, discussed the Machh Incident, Indian violations along Line of Control and Afghan peace process including security matters.
