 PM condemns Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque, expresses solidarity with Palestinians

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli forces.

A statement issued by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on social media said that the escalation of violence by Israeli forces was a serious violation of human rights.

Condemnable raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque & escalation of violence by Israel in gross violation of HR & humanitarian laws. We stand in solidarity with the Palestinians. Time for international community to protect innocent Palestinian lives, and uphold international law & UN Charter.

Shahbaz Sharif said that we express solidarity with the Palestinians, the time has come for the international community to protect the lives of innocent Palestinians.

The Prime Minister said that the international community should give priority to the United Nations Charter and international law regarding Palestine.

Yesterday, Israeli forces fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the compound adjacent to Al-Aqsa Mosque, injuring more than 150 people.

The attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli forces was also strongly condemned by the Pakistani Foreign Office.
