PIA to begin repatriation flights for Pakistanis stuck in US

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has completed its mission to bring back stranded Pakistanis in the United States due to the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.

PIA special flights start from May 12, as per information. Slots for PIA special flights have been reserved by the US Airports Authority.

The first passenger-free flight will leave for Washington DC on May 12. For the United States twelve flights a month are scheduled.

It was further learned that PIA flights to Washington, Chicago, New Jersey will be run while PIA has also told the U.S. embassy in Pakistan.
