KARACHI: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Tuesday announced reduction in fares for all its domestic flights.
The PIA spokesman said 12,000 rupees, one-way fare, including tax has been set for Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and other cities.
On Apr 24, the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) had reduced its special flights’ fares by 20 to 30 per cent, extending maximum relief to the nationals stranded in the United Arab Emirates due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Addressing a meeting in Islamabad, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari had said airfare for the UAE- bound special flights would come into effect from Apr 25.
He had said the government’s top priority was to ensure the repatriation of all those people who were stranded in the UAE and wanted to come back to Pakistan.
The special assistant had said the government had increased capacity to repatriate from 2, 000 people per week to 6,000.
