PIA cancels flights to China once again over coronavirus fears
Pakistan once again cancelled flights to China over fears of the coronavirus spreading in the country.
Pakistan, however, has not reported a case of coronavirus as of yet.
PIA flight operations have been suspended till March 15. Flight operations to China has been shut down for the second time. It previously halted all direct flight operations from January 29 to February 2 but restarted them saying that precautionary measures were being taken at airports.
A spokesperson for PIA has said the government will decide to extend the suspension of flight next month.
About 2,600 coronavirus fatalities have occurred in China, and cases are recorded worldwide. A number of countries and airlines have suspended flight operations to China, and many are passengers returning from China in quarantine.
