 PHC removes ban on TikTok

The Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry revealed that the Peshawar High Court (PHC) has removed ban on TikTok.

Fawad Chaudhry said, “Peshawar High Court has suspended the operation of single bench judgement, ban on @TikTok_Paki has been lifted, my submission is lets be very careful while taking decisions that may effect Economic future of Pakistan”.

“We need a framework to encourage international companies so to make Pakistan their investment hub,” he further added.

Earlier, on 11 March, the Peshawar High Court ordered a ban on social networking app TikTok.

According to PHC’s Chief Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan, the videos that are uploaded on Tik Tok are not acceptable for our society.
