ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz on Thursday said the budget session of the National Assembly, to be held on June 12, would be participated by around 86 members out of 342.
The federal government has limited the number of the NA members participating in federal budget 2020-21 session to one-fourth, viewing outbreak of coronavirus.
Shibli Faraz said the National Assembly had already been in session since Monday with all the standard operating procedures in place.

On petrol crisis, he said stern action would be taken against those found responsible for creating artificial shortage of petrol in the country, after an inquiry.
He said the petroleum supply was likely to be fully restored on June 11 (today).
Replying to question, the information minister said Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had supported all the decisions taken by the National Coordination Committee regarding the coronavirus pandemic.
He said the country could not afford lockdown for a long time due to its economic situation. He said even the rich and financially strong countries were also easing lockdown in order to turn the wheels of their economies.
The minister urged people to fully follow the SOPs issued by the government to stem the spread of coronavirus.
