Petrol prices reduced by One rupee 71 paisa per liter

Petrol prices likely to decrease from October 16

The federal government has issued a notification to reduce the prices of petroleum products.

According to the notification of the Finance Ministry, the price of petrol will be reduced by Rs 1.71 per liter to Rs 100.69 per liter.

After a reduction of Rs 79 paise per liter in the price of high-speed diesel, the new price has been fixed at Rs 101.43 paise per liter.

The price of kerosene will remain at Rs 65.29 per liter while the price of light diesel will remain at Rs 62.86 per liter.

The new prices of petroleum products will be applicable from 12 noon and these prices have been fixed for the next 15 days.

It may be recalled that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had recently recommended a reduction in the price of petrol by up to Rs 3 per liter.
