Peshawar Zalmi officials meet COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa

Pakistan Super League’s franchise Peshawar Zalmi officials called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday.
Former cricketer from West Indies Daren Sammy, former South African cricketer Hashim Amla, former Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Akram, and Peshawar Zalmi’s owner Javed Afridi were among the officials.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, COAS appreciated the dignitaries for their contributions for bringing international cricket to Pakistan and being the ambassadors of peace.
The army chief congratulated the cricketers on the success of Pakistan Super League (PSL) and expressed hope that it recommences early for much awaited jubilation of entire country.
The foreign dignitaries also shared experiences of their visits to different parts of Pakistan with Gen Bajwa.
