PESHAWAR: The deputy Commissioner Peshawar on Monday urged traders and shopkeepers to follow the official guidelines.
In a statement, he appealed the general public to restrict their movement and to extend cooperation in the prevention of the spread of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the district administration Peshawar of has arrested 41 people on the charge of profiteering and violation of lockdown in the metropolis.
In a statement, it said, on the directives of the Deputy Commissioner, Additional Assistant Commissioner Kashif Jan inspected bazaars in Hashtnagri, Sethi Town, Pahari Pura and other localities.
He also imposed cash penalties on eight drivers on Kohat Road for overcharging the commuters.
