Peshawar police arrest ‘Sunday’ serial minor girls’ rapist, murderer

Police have arrested the main suspect in the rape and murder of three minor girls in Peshawar city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inspector general (IG) KP confirmed on Thursday.
This was disclosed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Moazzam Jah Ansari at a news conference in Peshawar on Thursday morning.
He said catching the alleged serial killer was a challenging task for his department.
“The suspect is extremely vicious, cunning, and a true psychopath,” he claimed.
IG police said that the accused belong to Peshawar and his age is between 25 to 30 years, the accused has been arrested by Gulberg Police.
Describing the modus operandi used by the suspect, the police chief said that he always chose Sundays to hunt his victims.
The DNA test of the arrested accused has been matched with the murdered girls, while the accused has also confessed to the heinous crime.
According to the police, the accused killed a 10-year-old girl in Railway Colony on July 3 after raping her, the accused raped another girl in Gulberg and on July 17, the accused killed the third girl after raping her in Kalibari.
