 Peshawar likely to receive torrential rain, snowfall in upper districts

PESHAWAR: The weather conditions in Peshawar are likely to be as follows, as reported by the Meteorological Department.

Hazara, Malakand, Mardan in Peshawar will likely receive intermittent torrential rains, according to the Meteorological Department. Snowfall is also expected over high mountains in Upper Dir, Upper Swat, Kohistan and Mansehra districts.

Kakul (11mm), Takht Bhai (9mm), Saidu Shairf (9mm), Cherat (8mm) and Peshawar (6mm) of rain has been recorded since last night. Up to 1 inch of snow has been recorded in Kalam and Upper Dir districts.

Today’s maximum temperature is likely to be 15 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department.
