Senior actor Irfan Khoosat has said that people still wanted yesteryears’ famous drama series like Andhera Ujala.

In an interview, he said that comedy should be a part of today’s dramas, whose story line was often hard to comprehend and understand. He said that viewers had been getting bored due to dramas on all channels with the same kind of storyline.

Irfan Khoosat said that positive change in today’s dramas was the need of the hour.

This should be noted that the Pakistani viewers have preferred Turkish drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul over local dramas for showing Islamic and traditional culture and values. While, “the Burger-class” has taken over our drama production and they are adding vulgarity and damaging sanctity of respectable family relations through dialogues and story.

People are still missing the old dramas amid the dramas being shown on Pakistani TV channels.
