People school Mawra and Urwa for blaming food for depression

There are some people who have solution for all the problems, whether legit or illicit. You can ask them everything about anything and they will give you a satisfactory answer, until you have some credible knowledge about the topic. There is a strict recommendation that you stay away from these people for they can put you in serious trouble.

The duo celebrity sisters, Mawra and Urwa have put themselves in the same category by giving an ill-informed statement on depression in Nida Yasir’s morning show.

The Hocane sisters came to promote their upcoming clothing brand on Nida Yasir’s morning show. Everything was going perfect fine until the host started speaking on the topic of mental health and depression. The sisters shared how one’s mental heath is affected by the food people eat.

“Aaj kal kitne maslay hain, ke yar depression hogaya, mental ‘disease’ hogai, it’s all because of food! Aur koi reason hi nahi hai. (We hear so many people say that they are suffering from depression, they have mental ‘disease’, it’s all because of food. There’s no other reason),” said Urwa.

“It’s what you put in your body,” Mawra added.

Their this claim put all the medical studies to rest. People have taken a dig at them for these reckless remarks. They said that they should not have belittled the serious health issue.

The clip of them talking about mental health has gone viral and the sisters’ comments are not accepted by the people at all.

Urwa and Mawra's comments belittling mental health were problematic af but they are simply reflective of our general attitude.

As a general rule of thumb, it is never wise to talk about something authoritatively that you have not experienced yourself.
