 PDMA declares heatwave alert in Sindh

Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Sindh has declared heatwave alert for Sindh’s various districts advising all concerned departments to take appropriate measures.

According to the PDMA Sindh, the temperature in Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Badin and Umerkot is likely to reach 45 degrees.

PDMA Sindh has issued letters to district administration of Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Umerkotand and other districts.

The PDMA said that camps should be set up, ambulance service should be ensured and people should not leave their homes unnecessarily.

People have been advised to take care during peak heatwave hours.

The PDMA stated that the heat wave will continue till May 11, 14 and 15.
