PDM activities postponed after Maryam Nawaz falls ill

LAHORE: The political activities of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) have been postponed after health condition of Pakistan Muslim League-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz deteriorated.
PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that a coronavirus test of Maryam Nawaz was conducted and doctors had advised her to take complete rest.
“Maryam Nawaz has sore throat and high fever. She still went to the Lahore High Court, despite her bad health condition,” Marriyum Aurangzeb said.
She said that the PML-N vice president had cancelled her political activities for four days.
Later, Maryam’s secretary Zeeshan Malik confirmed that her corona test had come negative.
On the other hand, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is also not feeling well for the last couple of days and is taking rest at his home in Dera Ismail Khan.
