Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a tender notice, inviting companies to come on board for provision of ticket-selling services for upcoming national and international cricket tournaments.
Pakistan is going to witness cricket spring soon as South African national team has landed in the country for series of Test and T20I while fixtures of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) have also been announced.
Earlier it was being suggested that PCB had been considering to host all the upcoming matches behind closed doors due to coronavirus pandemic.
However, the national board has recently announced to bring out tickets for the upcoming sport events via tender notice issued on January 16.
“Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wishes to invite sealed bids from eligible firms/companies for Provision of Ticket Services for all PCB tournaments/series played in in Pakistan from January 2021 till June 2021,” the notice states.
Although, PCB has already hosted Zimbabwe tour, PSL-5 playoff stages, National T20 Cup 2020, Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2020-21 and the ongoing Pakistan Cup in the absence of the spectators.
English cricket team is also set to tour Pakistan for T20I series in October after a gap of 16 years.
