PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja likely to resign after Khan’s ouster, Sources

PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja may step down from his post after the success of no-confidence motion against Former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Sources said that after the success of the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan, changes in the PCB are being made certain, and in this regard, PCB chairman Ramiz Raja has consulted his close friends and colleagues in the PCB.
Sources said that Ramiz Raja is not in favor of retaining his post after the ouster of Imran Khan.
Sources predicted that Ramiz Raja may announce his decision after the International Cricket Council meeting in Dubai.
Ramiz Raja is in Dubai with the CEO and Director International for the ICC meetings while today is the last day of the ICC meetings in Dubai.
According to sources, there is a strong possibility of high level changes in the PCB today while the chairman has made up his mind to step down from the post. The future of those appointed by the Chairman is not bright either.
Earlier, former Prime Minister Imran Khan had nominated Ramiz Raja and Asad Ali Khan as the Patron in Chief of Pakistan Cricket for the governing board.
Sources further said that after the ouster of Imran Khan, the domestic cricket structure in Pakistan will change and departmental cricket may be revived.
