Passengers will be sent home without waiting for test results: Moeed Yusuf
Dr. Moeed Yusuf, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Security Division and Strategic Policy Planning, said passengers would now be screened for coronavirus upon arrival and sent home to isolate themselves without having to wait for tests.
The SAPM introduced a policy in a tweet, and said the passengers’ check results would be added to the track and trace program. Provincial governments should be able and follow-up and ensure travelers and the public health and safety.
He further claimed that by June 10, they intend to repatriate 20,000 passengers.
