Passengers to get free tea at Pakistan’s airports

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has decided to provide free-of-cost tea service to passengers at the airports across the country.
According to the details, another facility is now being provided by CAA as part of its mission to provide the best facilities to passengers at domestic airports.
This time, CAA has prepared a plan to provide free tea to passengers at domestic airports. In the initial phase, this facility will be provided to passengers at Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad airports.

Spokesperson CAA said that Civil Aviation Authority has also invited tenders in this regard from various tea supplier companies.
“The service will be started at the airports in the next 3 to 4 weeks,” he added.
A similar service had been introduced at the Skardu airport in 2016 in view of the unavailability of tea shops in the region.
