 Pashto actress Neelum Gul arrested for aerial firing in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Neelum Gul, a Pashto singer and actress, has been arrested for aerial firing by Peshawar police.

The singer reportedly opened fire while celebrating procurement of new car. She was arrested after a video of her firing gunshots went viral on social media. AS case has been lodged against her, according to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police. 

According to Prohibition of Firing Act 1988, firing and the use of such materials or weapons on marriages or other such ceremonies, including political receptions or processions or stray firing at a public place is banned.
