QUETTA: Five terrorists were killed and eight others injured in exchange of fire with the Frontier Corps troops in two separate attacks launched by terrorists in Quetta and Turbat.
According to the media wing of armed forces, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), FC post near Pir Ismail Ziarat was targeted by terrorists in the first incident.
In ensuing exchange of fire, four brave FC soldiers embraced martyrdom and six sustained injuries. In the second incident, terrorists targeted FC vehicle with improvised explosive device (IED) in Turbat. Resultantly, two FC soldiers got injured.
The ISPR said such coward acts by inimical elements backed by anti-state forces cannot sabotage the hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan.
Security forces are determined to neutralise their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives.
On Feb 15, Pakistan Army soldier Sepoy Asad Mehdi had embraced martyrdom during a terrorist attack on Frontier Corps (FC) post in Balochistan.
According to the ISPR, the terrorists had opened fired at the post which was installed for the security of the N-85 highway near Kech district’s Hoshab.
