Pakistan’s nuclear assets are more secure than India
According to the New World Index, Pakistan lags far behind India in protecting its nuclear assets. Pakistan has been declared the more secure custodian of nuclear assets.
According to the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) Index, Pakistan’s efforts to protect its nuclear assets have left India far behind. Pakistan scored 47 points against India’s 41. Pakistan also has a score of 58 against India’s 53 in defense of installations.
Pakistan has gained plus 25 points, while Pakistan’s plus one rank has also been increased in the global norms category. Pakistan raised its rank by 7 points, after which India is now 6 points behind Pakistan.
By implementing the new regulations, Pakistan has taken most of the measures related to security and control. Compared to other countries, Pakistan has greatly improved itself in the security and control category.
On the other hand, Lara Kennedy, former US Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Conference on Disarmament, welcomed the report on Pakistan in the NTI Index, while Asad Majeed Khan, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, also welcomed the report. ۔
