 Pakistan’s football star Ali Nawaz Baloch passes away

The Liyari-born former Pakistan football captain, Ali Nawaz Baloch passed away in Karachi on Friday, due to brain hemorrhage.

Ali Nawaz Baloch suffered brain hemorrhage last week after which he passed away today, Football star’s funeral prayer will be held at KMC Stadium Karachi at 4 pm today.

Nawaz represented Pakistan in many international tournaments, he has also received the Pride of Performance Award from the Government of Pakistan (GoP) in 1996.

Former captain Ali Nawaz Baloch was known as a goalscoring machine in his time.

Besides representing Pakistan from 1967 to 1974, Ali Nawaz played professional football for the Emirates FC in Abu Dhabi for five years.

He also served as a coach in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for five years.
