Pakistan’s death rate of the novel coronavirus jumped to 2.12pc on Friday as 45 new death were reported with 2,417 new cases in last 24 hours, according to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
According to NCOC’s city-wise data, Karachi observed the highest positivity ratio at 15.97pc followed by Peshawar (13.62pc) and Mirpur- Azad Kashmir (11.49pc).
Pakistan’s total Corona-related death toll jumped to 10,863 with 514,338 confirmed cases countrywide.
In the last 24 hours, 40,359 test were conducted, out of which 2,417 came out as positive, and 2,072 patients recovered from the disease.
Currently, Sindh has most number of cases with 231,953 followed by Punjab (147,953), KP (62,719), Islamabad (39,749), Balochistan (18,515). Azad Jammu Kashmir (8,567) and Giligit-Baltistan (4,882).
