 Pakistanis react on WhatsApp’s ‘privacy breach policy’

Pakistani people have taken Twitter by storm with hashtags #WhatsAppheadquarters and #WhatsappPrivacy. Some are ridiculing WhatsApp’s new policy, while others are bantering compatriots for overreacting on the policy announcement. Some also made memes on how Facebook and WhatsApp employees would be reacting after seeing messages of Pakistanis.

A guy said that people were getting worried as if they were agents of some intelligence agency or they had a big business or they had concealed some information which was sought by the messaging application.

A large number of users have also sought alternative for the messaging app, to which most of the recommendations have been given for Telegram, BiP and Signal applications.

Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan along his staff members has shifted from WhatsApp to BiP sighting privacy concerns.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp has issued a clarification regarding its privacy policy stating that it protects and secures private messages of people.
