Pakistani woman arrested for ‘kidnapping’ a girl in Makkah

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) police have arrested a Pakistani woman for kidnapping a 5-year-old girl in Makkah, it emerged on Sunday night.
According to the Arab website, on October 29, a 5-year-old girl Rateel Asad with Burma citizenship went missing from Al-Shuqiya area of Makkah.
The local police immediately mobilized to reunite the girl with her parents and the incident of kidnapping also became a trend on social media.
The police recovered the missing girl from the same area on the morning of November 1, but the police continued their investigation to arrest the suspects involved in the incident.
The mother of 5-year-old told that the abductors wanted to take the girl to another area as they also cut the hair of the girl so that no one could recognize her.
She added that after the public outrage the abductors left the girl on the road.
On November 6, the police informed on social media that a woman involved in the kidnapping of the girl has been detained and the woman is a Pakistani citizen.
