Pakistani students break India’s world record of planting saplings
GUJRANWALA: Pakistani students have broken India’s world record of planting saplings, by planting 50,000 saplings in one minute.
13,000 students took part in the historic event in Gujranwala. India had set the world record by planting 37,000 trees in one minute.
Advisor to the Prime Minister for Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam said the trees were planted in the center of the city and they would be taken care by Parks and Horticulture Authority. We have to protect Pakistan from the climate change, he added.
Lashing out at the opposition for criticizing Prime Minister Imran Khan’s plantation drive, He said the urban forest was being a cause of annoyance for the enemies.
