Pakistani student receives Young Scientist Award 2021 in biotechnology

A student of Comsats University, Islamabad, Umair Masood has received the ‘Young Scientist Award 2021’.
21-year-old Masood received the award for his outstanding contribution in the field of Molecular Diagnostics Techniques at the 7th annual conference, which was held in Australia.
Students from 121 countries had participated in the contest. However, Masood ranked first as he got 336 votes.
While receiving the award, Masood said, “Thanks to Allah the Almighty and my parents that I could secure this high prestigious award for my contribution to the biotechnology field.”
According to the sources, Masood is a resident of Havalian in Abbottabad district.
