ISLAMABAD: Pakistani netizens have wreaked havoc on Twitter after India lost huge amount of Rs900 crore on failed mission of landing on moon.
The Indian nation had set their eyes on the Chandrayaan-2 (space mission) which was supposed to land on Moon on Friday night, but according to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) they had lost contact with the unmanned spacecraft about 2.1 km away from moon. The fate of the spacecraft is unknown, but it is feared that it has been crashed.
India’s first moon mission in October 2008 Chandrayaan-1 had also failed.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry led the trolling against the moon mission and termed the Indian spacecraft a ‘toy’. He said Indian aircraft would have landed in Mumbai rather than on moon. He advised Indians to stop waiting for the moon and go to sleep.
After receiving scores of scornful remarks from Indian social media users, Fawad said they were abusing him as if he was the one who failed their moon mission. “Brother, did I ask you to spend 900 crore on these incompetent people?” he wondered.
Here’s how Twitteriites reacted to India’s utter failure:
