Pakistani celebrities who are performing Hajj 2022
There are five pillars of Islam and the Pilgrimage (Hajj) is one of them. The five pillars of Islam identify the fundamental characteristics of Muslims, including their faith, beliefs, and practises, and they also serve to unite the world’s followers of Islam into a fellowship of shared values and concerns.
Pilgrimage (Hajj) is one of the important pillars of Islam. The Masjid-al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, is where Muslims perform the Hajj, a holy pilgrimage. Dhul Hijjah, the 12th and final month in the Islamic calendar is when the Hajj is carried out. Worshippers dressed in white robes have flooded the streets of Makkah as the holiest city of Islam and this year is set to host the biggest Hajj pilgrimage since the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year, many Pakistani celebrities reached Mecca to perform Hajj. From former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, anchorperson Waseem Badami, and Politician Sharmila Faruqui to different showbiz personalities like Javeria Saud are performing Hajj-e-Akbar an obligatory duty this year.
