Pakistani-American doctor creates ventilator to treat seven patients at once

Saud Anwar, an American doctor of Pakistani descent who is fighting the war against novel coronavirus from the front, has developed a ventilator capable of treating 7 patients at once.
He shared in a facebook post a successful demonstration of how he and his team could use one ventilator to ventilate seven patients.
He said you can theoretically support many more patients with limited ventilators using this knowledge and example if needed.
He also shared the CAD file for the 3D printer to anyone who wants it to print their own connectors.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump released an order attempting to compel General Motors to manufacture ventilators for patients with coronavirus under the Defense Production Act.
US President Donald Trump said that talks with General Motors had been successful, “but our fight against the virus is too urgent to allow the give-and-take of the contracting process to continue to run its normal course.”
Trump said “GM was wasting time” and that his intervention would help ensure rapid ventilator development that can save American lives.
