Pakistan’s veteran actress Meera has announced that she will be producing her first-ever film through her own production house.

While speaking in a session titled ‘Gup Shup with Meera‘ at Karachi’s Art Council, Meera revealed that she will be sharing the screen with new faces in her upcoming movie.

She said she wishes to work with writer Anwar Maqsood, for that she has scheduled a meeting with the writer.

“Media mafia does not allow new people to work,” said Meera. She further said, “I promise to fight against the mafia and uncover them soon.”

After getting appreciation on her comeback film Baji, Meera is currently working on a film and a drama, which will be on air in upcoming days.

She expressed that she gets hurt when the media publishes unverified news and links her in a new scandal.

The session was attended by Arts Council President Ahmed Shah, Pakistan Film TV Journalists’ Association Chairman Athar Javed Sufi and others.
