Pakistan will be resuming Afghan exports from Wednesday, via Wagah border crossing after following coronavirus related protocols.
Spokesperson of the Foreign Office Aisha Farooqui states in a press release that the decision has been taken on a special request of the Afghanistan Government in order to facilitate Afghanistan’s transit trade.
Farooqui ensures that with this step, Pakistan has fulfilled its commitments under the Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement (APTTA).
Pakistan has restored bilateral trade, Afghan transit trade at all border crossing terminals to pre-coronavirus status.
